Classroom Rules 1. Safety is First and Most Important 2. Safety Glasses will be worn at all times during lab classes. 3. Enter the room, go directly to your seats, check board for your assignment, and begin working. 4. Use equipment only if you have been trained on it. 5. Respect will be shown to others. ( Inappropriate language, touching,and/or disrespect will not be tolerated) 6. Raise your hand if you have a question and I will acknowledge you as soon as I have finished what I am doing. 7. The teacher excuses the class not the bell, remain seated until dismissed. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS 1. Verbal Warning (if equipment related you will not use the equipment the remainder of the hour) 2. Verbal Warning with possible parent contact 3. Written Warning and referral to office. 4. Written Warning and detention or suspension from class 5. Written Warning, parent conference and removal from the class. Tardiness You will arrive in class on time and be seated. The policies in the school handbook will be followed 3 tardies will result in 1 hour of detention and 1 unexcused absent day from class. Electronic Devices As a member of a 1:1 program, it is your responsibility to bring your device to class each day charged and ready for use. Failure to do so will result in your being sent to the Media Center to receive a violation. If your device is in need of charging it will be kept and charged for the remainder of the class hour or until it reaches 50%. It is your responsibility to pick it up between classes. Loaner devices are available only for devices that are mailed in for repair. Violation #1 - Warning Violation #2 - Detention Violation #3 - Detention and loss of privilege to take device home for the period of 20 school days. |
Classroom Management Plan for Computer Lab
Procedures 1. Enter the classroom and immediately turn on your computers. 2. Check the whiteboard for instructions, vocabulary words, etc. and write them in your notebook according to our guidelines. 3. Open the proper program on your computer. (Inventor, Goggle, etc.) 4. Once you have been told to go to work, begin working and raise your hand so I can respond your question as soon as possible. 5. Once we have completed the work for the day, logoff or shutdown depending on what type of class is following us in the lab. Rules 1. NO FOOD OR LIQUIDS are allowed at the computer station. 2. We will treat everyone with respect inappropriate language, touching, and behavior will not be tolerated. 3. Students will not be allowed to surf the internet or be on sites not required for class work or research. If found on other sites, the student will lose computer privileges for that day or more, depending on the type of site visited. 4. Students are expected to be in their seats when the bell rings, if you were delayed because you were talking to a staff member bring a pass or have them call me. Consequences 1. Verbal warning 2. Verbal warning and contact with a parent. 3. Written warning (detention) 4. Written warning and contact with parent. 5 Written warning and meeting with student, parent, and teacher Tardies Remember tardies add up!! 3 tardies equal 1 day absent. |
